Great Hotel to stay for foreigners! M K Plaza Hotel felt really safe and they helped us so much than we asked for. Gaya is not the safest city in India for foreigners. My husband and I got scammed outside of the hotel, which felt like we were being followed back to the hotel. Thankfully, the really great staff was helpful on booking us taxi, rickshaw, and talking decent prices for rides. At the end, the hotel owner & staffs made us feel comfortable and safe until we went to our train. You will get what you pay for, the room is okay, and larger than usual, internet is surprisingly good. We were even able to watch Netflix. Some parts of the hotel can look like it’s worn out. Very important note: only be outside before 7pm or at least before sundown.

Quite good for mid range budget .Neat and clean rooms , well maintained washrooms and good service overall. Big dining restaurant is also available in 5th Floor and there is a big banquet room in the entry. Food costs are really high but overall ,it should be a pleasant experience. Give it a go if you are planning to visit IIM Bodhgaya or nearby places.

Don't go looking at the building exterior as it doesn't do justice to the interior. A book can be judged by it's cover. This quote is true for this place. Me and my to be fiancé had a really pleasant stay. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. They have said they will add the intercom system and rooftop restaurant and bar. We can't wait to go back here again someday.
